The Piazza

Alfresco dining is a quintessential Italian pastime that naturally comes to life at the Pietro Gallus Estate traditional cobblestone piazza. Overlooking the rolling hills of Warrandyte, immerse your senses with the ultimate casual dining experience.
No outside food or drink permitted, we have plenty of that here for you.
Our Alfresco area is walk-in only, with limited capacity. No pets allowed.
Alfresco Private Dining
Under the Vines
This semi private alfresco dining experience gives you exclusive access to the table under the vines, partially covered and overlooking the kitchen garden and grounds. Your group will enjoy a 10 plate Italian sharing menu hand selected by our Executive Chef. All dishes will be served to the centre of the table for all to enjoy. $120 pp for food, drinks additional. Children aged 4-12 years are $50pp. This is an outdoor booking, so weather dependent. Capacity: Min 10 adults – Max 18 guests.
Indoor Private Dining
La Cantina
From within our Olivigna Restaurant, you can spy a magnificent door that leads to our private dining room La Cantina. For an exclusive private dining experience you will enjoy a 10 plate Italian sharing menu, hand selected by our Executive Chef. All dishes will be served to the centre of the table for all to enjoy. $120pp for food, drinks additional. Children aged 4-12 years are $50pp.

Vineyard Experience
Picnic Huts
Picnic in style, where bush meets the olive grove.
A truly unique experience where you are escorted to a private picnic hut, perched amongst Warrandyte bushland and overlooking the entire estate.
Picnic huts are available for hire on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with a minimum 6 and maximum of 8 guests required. Your group will enjoy our modern Italian picnic menu at $80pp. Bookings are for a 2.5 hour duration and guests must be 18+.
